DASH diet – actually, it’s not a diet, but a healthy way of eating! Perfect for people who love to eat! The DASH diet consists of five balanced meals (three main and two snacks), with reduced sodium content, but still granting an increased amount of taste sensations thanks to herbs and spices! The calorific value of this diet is based on proteins derived from white meat, fish, eggs and lean dairy products. The presence of fats, mainly vegetable, is guaranteed by seeds, nuts and natural oils, and the only other thing we need to add are carbohydrates, of course mostly complex ones, the ideal source of which are cereals, rice and pasta made from whole grain flour. The DASH diet is delicious, light, timeless, and, as a bonus, it reduces the risk of hypertension and diabetes.
