Description
LOW IG diet (lowered glycemic index) – does not cure, but it tries… The whole philosophy is based on a lowered glycemic index. What can you expect from it? Five meals scheduled regularly throughout the day make for half the success! The other half is won by the work of nutrients so wisely packed in boxes. Carbohydrates on which this diet is based will always be: more raw (cooked for a short time) and in bigger pieces (less fragmented). If cereal products are 99.9% whole grain, they are tastier and healthier! Fresh vegetables and fruits ensure a constant supply of vitamins and minerals. The addition of protein in the form of lean meat, fish, eggs and legumes will deliciously enrich the treatment, and healthy fats, including the necessary unsaturated fatty acids, make for its anti-inflammatory nature. Take care of yourself!
The LOW IG diet is not a therapeutic diet, it is recommended to consult a doctor / dietitian before using it in case of diagnosed diabetes.
